l recently had to replace a water pump on my jeep cherokee 2004 3.7 litre and l am trying to refill coolant so l was wondering where do you pour the coolant in - at pressure tank or do l remove alan key plug near top hose on the aluminium housing.

Usually it is right on top of the radiator. Fill up the rad. start the engine, leave the cap off so that the coolant can circulate, keep pouring in coolant. Once no more will go in the rad, fill up the resevoir and keep the engine running for a few minutes. Once you are sure that the coolant is circulating throughout the rad, you can put the cap back on. All should be good.

on the newer jeeps.you just dump it in the plastic reservoir.just fill to full line and you are good to go

keep filling the the over flow the bolt is to remove traped air in a high spot in thr cooling system
