l plan on getting american racing outlaw 2's.15x8 with 31x10.50 tires.will those stick out some?

You need to know your backspacing first, and then check the backspacing on the aro is To check, pull off tire, put a straight edge across the rim only and measure to the lug holes. Then find out what the aro is are.

And you will throw rocks depending on which tires you get. l have the BFG AT is and have picked up and thrown some good size rocks. In some states, depending on lift, mudflaps and/or extended fender flares may be required.

Jeeps talk backspacing..tuners talk offset. With backspacing the lower the number, the more your tires will stick out. l am not sure how much you're going to get 10.50 is to stick out, but try 3.25 -3.5 range. Keep in mind this will wear your tires faster, and put greater stress on your suspension components (ball joints and wheel bearings) It will also pelt the side of the Jeep (and the plastic windows) with road grime, dirt and pebbles.
